Introduction

Over the course of your many education classes, you will learn a lot about classroom management. You will also get opportunities to work with experienced teachers and to try out some of your ideas.

There are many ways to be an effective manager of a classroom; what works for one person may not work for another because one's own personality style has a lot to do with classroom management. For example, some people have a high tolerance for certain kinds of learning-related chaos (students moving around in the classroom with learning purposes in mind, large art-centered projects, etc.) and others have a more difficult time with movement and chaos. Both types of teachers can be absolutely wonderful and effective.

Explore the classroom management possibilities below (examine at least three different possibilities), and then add to your Bronfenbrenner assignment from last time information reflecting your personal style as far as classroom management is concerned.
